Chanteur, auteur, Clément Lemennicier porte une pop calcaire, minimale et singulière. Une folk lente aérienne et incarnée. Une guitare électrique, quelques pédales d’effets et sa voix. Cette musique à l’instrumentation resserrée se révèlent pourtant ample et sensible, d'une intimité jamais déchirée. Compositeur, multi-instrumentiste, ingénieur du son, il se forme notamment en Islande, à Greenhouse Studio auprès du producteur et musicien Valgeir Sigurdsson (Björk, Feist, Ben Frost...). Trompettiste de la première heure, c’est pourtant à la guitare et au chant qu’il se dévoile.
Accompagné sur scène par le multi-instrumentiste Federico Climovich, deux guitares, deux voix, synthèse. Tout deux issus du groupe rennais Bumpkin Island, on aura notamment pu les retrouver, sur scène, en studio, aux cotés d'artistes comme Laetitia Sheriff, Laura Perrudin, La Battue, Quentin Sauvé, Totorro…
Un album est à paraitre à l'automne 2024 sur le label breton Yellow mountain.

Singer-songwriter, Clément Lemennicier's pop is limestone, minimal and singular. An airy, embodied slow folk. An electric guitar, a few effects pedals and his voice. This music, with its tight instrumentation, is nonetheless ample and sensitive, a never broken intimacy. Composer, multi-instrumentalist and sound engineer, he trained in Iceland at Greenhouse Studio with producer and musician Valgeir Sigurdsson (Björk, Feist, Ben Frost...). A trumpeter from the start, it's on guitar and vocals that he reveals his talents.
Accompanied on stage by multi-instrumentalist Federico Climovich, two guitars, two voices, synthesis. Both members of the Rennes-based group Bumpkin Island, they have appeared on stage and in the studio with artists such as Laetitia Sheriff, Laura Perrudin, La Battue, Quentin Sauvé, Totorro...
A debut album is scheduled for autumn 2024 on the Brittany-based label Yellow Mountain.
