Le groupe O /
Created in 2014 by Clément Lemennicier, O is first and foremost a story of friendship, a story of poems that should have stayed on the margins and yet gave the first impetus. 9 years on, the shared vocabulary is operating, displaying itself, more mature, the writing more radical. Clément Lemennicier, whose cross-disciplinary background is generally associated with the Breton independent pop scene, nevertheless develops a very personal, intimate side to O, close to his early influences. Infulences assumed, a line drawn between the American trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire, the British Thom York and the Estonian Arvo Part. Open and sensitive, O embraces the collective between improvisation and minimalist writing. Everyone here is working to create a common space.
